3LP (The Library Project) is a community service initiative founded by Lanre Lawal, built on a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves access to knowledge, inspiration, and a safe space to dream.
Born out of Lanre’s deep love for reading and the life-changing role books played in his journey, 3LP is his personal contribution to the future; an investment in the next generation of thinkers, dreamers, and leaders. Reading opened doors to growth, opportunities, and new perspectives for him, and now he’s committed to opening those same doors for others.
At 3LP, we transform public school libraries across Lagos by building, refurbishing, and equipping them to make learning spaces safe, vibrant, and functional for students. This isn’t just a project, it’s a mission driven by passion for humanity, community development, and educational equity.

Lanre is a creative entrepreneur and music consultant with a deep passion for education and community development. He founded 3LP to help rebuild a culture of reading by renovating libraries in public schools and providing young people with access to knowledge and opportunities. Known for his quiet leadership and long-term vision, Lanre believes in the power of books, music, and meaningful collaboration to shape a better future.
Winnifred brings order, warmth, and structure to 3LP’s mission. As the lead for Operations, she ensures that every idea moves from vision to reality. Driven by a deep passion for impact, Winnifred believes that small, consistent efforts can change lives; whether it’s placing a single book in a child’s hand or building an entire library. Her clarity, calmness, and commitment keep the 3LP dream moving forward, one project at a time.
